Okay, I’m telling it the way it is! If one smells, one sure can’t feel attractive, and that’s because people can’t stand to be near someone that stinks. I’ve known family members who smell real bad reminding me of rotten potatoes. Yes, it was that bad!
Fortunately, there are some simple methods in helping someone who has a stench.
The first is baking soda. Baking soda, not only is known for keeping one’s fridge odor-free, but people, too. One can simply purchase a box of baking soda and use it as a dusting powder or a body rub, or sprinkle a handful in one’s bath.
Did you know that some deodorants have baking soda as an ingredient, such as products from Arm & Hammer. (If interesting in purchase a product at iherb.com, use BER298, to save money during checkout.)

The second is corn starch. The idea of using corn starch to eliminate body odor was known by Native Americans living in Southwest United States and Mexico. They make a body talc by mixing crushed calendula leaves with cornstarch.
Body odor can sometimes be the result of sluggish or poor elimination, but gentle herbs can help clean one’s body on the inside. Combine equal parts of peppermint, red clover, yarrow, cleavers, and calendula, then steep 1 heaping tablespoon of the mixture in 1 quart of warm water for 15 minutes. Strain and drink throughout the day. All of these ingredients can be purchased at http://www.iherb.com (Use BER298, to save money during checkout.)
Besides sipping on tea, another known method for getting rid of one’s body order is zinc. Pumpkin seeds provide a good, concentrated supply of zinc, a deficiency of which can prompt body odor. If one is not keen on seeds, one can take 30 to 50 milligrams of zinc in tablet form daily to reduce body odor, as well as foot odor. However, one will need to check with one’s doctor before taking a supplement of zinc, since zinc can deplete copper and other minerals in one’s body.
