Career development is the lifelong process of managing learning, work, leisure and transitions in order to move towards a personally determined and evolving future. It applies to people of all ages. It is imperative to all to have a better career development consultation so that we shape-up our career perfectly. Otherwise, it could ultimately left with a less success even after so much hard work and wastage of many other resources. So, to develop career in a better way, the requirement of professional become must. They are the professionals to assist we at any point throughout our transition process to make educational, training and occupational choices and to manage our careers. It will include a wide range of activities like:

To accomplish these jobs successfully, as we discussed above, the need of career development professionals. Career development professionals provide services that help people manage their careers, make occupational and study decisions, plan career transitions and find career information. Career development practitioners work in a range of settings including: schools, TAFEs, universities, business organizations, government agencies and private practice. They may work with individuals or small groups. Career development practitioners are often known as career advisers, coaches or counselors and work in areas ranging from schools to universities, community organizations and large corporations. There are many who also work in private practice.
CD professional members are qualified and skilled to assist in areas such as career planning and transition, identifying further study options, writing job applications, preparing for job interviews, finding work experience or internships, returning to work following injury, and career and life management skills such as networking, negotiation, assertiveness and decision making.
An expert career development professional will help you to identify your career values, skills and interests and assist you to put together an exciting and achievable plan for your future.
