Catholic Theologians Accuse Pope of Heresy

Martin Luther was a Catholic (Augustinian) Monk who visited Rome and said, “If there is a hell, Rome is built over it.” He was bothered by the luxurious living, the loose morals, and the lack of interest in spiritual things. It seems that nothing has changed.

The Bible foretold the great apostasy that would result in the papacy. Paul wrote that the day of Christ should not come, "except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God…so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2.

Christianity laid aside the simplicity of Christ and His apostles for the pomp and pride of pagan priests and rulers; and in place of the requirements of God, she substituted human theories and traditions.

It was foretold by the prophet Daniel. All the reformers saw the little horn that grew out of the 4th beast (Roman Empire) in Daniel 7 as the papacy that would “speak great words against the Most High [claiming the title, Lord God the Pope], wear out the saints of the Most High [50-80 million martyrs] and think to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25.

Changing the Sabbath to Sunday united the realm for Constantine, a sun-worshiper and Rome accepts the homage paid by millions of Christians who honor their authority in spite of claiming the Bible as the basis of their faith.

Auto de fe was the act of faith in burning heretics at the stake, but now 62 theologians accuse the pope of heresy.

Early Americans who fled the persecution of the Old World for freedom here did so at the risk of death at sea, by starvation or Indians, but liberty of conscience meant more, and they saw the papacy as represented by the beast in Revelation 13 that had a deadly wound (Protestant Reformation and death of the pope after Napoleon’s General Berthier took the pope prisoner.)

But as every living US president bowed before the casket of a dead John Paul, it fulfilled the prophecy that “all the world wondered after the [system whose deadly wound was healed]. Verse 3.

Some early Americans also saw the 2nd lamb-like beast as America. It had two horns, but without crowns like the previous beast, it represented a government without a king and a church without a pope—Protestant America. But a change occurs and it is speaks like a dragon and causes the world to make an image—a look-alike to the previous Old World Order.

The UN New World Order is the image beast that the pope rides or guides in Revelation 17 with numerous clues that can only fit the Vatican, a word that means divining serpent (Google). Verse 5 identifies the system as Babylon and chapter 18 has a call to come out from her.
