Cellulite is a problem which can affect both men and women, but are more commonly found in women. There are many speculations as to the causes of cellulite. Unfortunately, most of them are false, yet many people actually believe in them! They do not realize that these beliefs are actually false. Luckily for you, I am going to expose some of these myths regarding cellulite in the following article!
The first myth is that alcohol causes cellulite. The truth is that alcohol can cause you to become fat, by causing more visceral fats to be deposited all around your stomach region. Alcohol will also slow down your metabolic rate, causing you to burn less fats and calories on a passive basis. However, the consumption of alcohol will not directly cause you to develop cellulite. Even then, drinking too much alcoholic drinks will make you fat, therefore you should still reduce your consumption if you want to be slim and toned.
The second myth about cellulite is that caffeinated drinks will cause more cellulite to appear. This is ridiculous. Most of these wrong beliefs talk about how caffeine will cause poor blood circulation, and thus causing a reduction in the body's ability to flush away toxins and waste products! These are actually nothing but myths. When it comes to the formation of cellulite, the caffeine found in your tea or coffee has actually nothing to do with it. However, as caffeine is a diuretic, and will dehydrate you, you should still take them in moderation.
Finally, it is believed that junk foods causes new cellulite and makes old ones worse. In direct contrast to most people's beliefs, you can still take junk foods but remain in shape as long as you only take them in moderation. In other words, you should still not be living on processed and artificial foods for the rest of your life. Junk food should still be taken sparingly. Your diet should not consist of high carbohydrate, high fat and high sugar foods. There should be more healthy foods, with a minimal intake of junk foods to soothe your cravings.
The truth is that you can actually get rid of cellulite even if you do not go for any fat loss surgery. As cellulite is actually a muscle, it can be fixed with a few simple changes to your current diet and some types of effective exercises!
