When people see that word they instantly cringe. Most people don’t like change. Change is different. Change is new. Change is going down a path not known. Change is necessary.

To effectively change your life, you have to change your mindset. You have to change from the negative to the positive, the bad to the good, the old to the new. You have to be willing to remove the things that are hindering your growth. It may be friends, it may be your job, it may be loved ones, it may be negative thoughts; whatever is holding down and holding you back needs to be removed. Remove = Change.

Only you can be you. Only you can make the necessary changes to make your life better. Nobody else can change you, only you can do it. If your life isn’t what you want it to be, change it. And if you don’t? It’s nobody’s fault but your own. Quit blaming everyone and everything for your life not being your dream life. Get over the obstacles, tackle the roadblocks, move the mountains, get over it and move on. Don’t let the hindrances keep you down. Period.

To effectively make a change you have to find the actual root cause of the unwanted behavior, the unwanted emotions; and deal with it so that you can freely move forward. When left alone and unhealed, the past and the shadows that lie within you will surely destroy your life. The courage and strength to look clearly at your past and your shadows take back aspects of your life that you’ve given away lies within you and only you. All you have to do is close your eyes, go within, let go, and ask. The absolute power you need is there, it has been all along, but it will only come forth when your desire to change is stronger than your desire to stay the same. What do you choose?

Here are a few things to think about when you’re trying to decide what you’d like to do. 1. Your goals need to be your goals Not your spouse’s or significant other’s, not your friends’, parents’, children’s, etc. - YOURS! 2.

Being a mom who loves to celebrate Valentine's Day with her children just as much as she does with her husband, I am always on the look out for something fun, different, and inexpensive that I can do for the kids. Last year, our grocery store was selling cute candy bouquets, but the price tag was a hefty $30 for a maximum of $10 worth of supplies. After taking a couple of inconspicuous pictures, I began searching through the store for the same items that they had used to make their bouquets.
