Change is the Only Constant

This phrase/quote has been running through my head a lot lately. Change is the only constant factor in life. This is a paraphrase of the quote by "Heraclitus". It seems that I really resonate with this quote, especially in the past few years. I feel like this is my mantra because my life is constantly changing, always for the better!!! The past few months especially, I have been extremely busy with many different projects and engaging with many new people. Sometimes projects, events, and people come into your life out of the blue. You weren't expecting them or even looking for them, so what do you do? In my case, I "go with the flow" and see what transpires. I embrace the change, the people, the opportunity.
For example, at the end of August, I was involved in an online cooking show which was livestreamed via a Google+ hangout. This project just ended late last year, but it was sooo much fun while it lasted!!! I learned so much about myself, my partners, and my friends. I met a lot of really interesting people, that I may not have met otherwise. I also learned a great deal about production, broadcasting, and other technical stuff. I have added more tools to my toolkit of life so that now if someone asks me if I know how to produce an online show, I can say "yes, I can do that". Although the online cooking show is no longer running, it was a fantastic experience, and it was totally unexpected when the opportunity presented itself to me. If I hadn't accepted and embraced the change that came with this opportunity, I would have missed out on making new friends and growing as a human being.
Most of you already know by now that I am a great proponent of gratitude, so although this project has now ended, I would still like to express my gratitude to some of the wonderful people who were involved in it with me, either directly or indirectly and who taught me so much, Hermine Ngnomire (creator of the project), Bruce Garber, Bobbi Jo Woods, Robert Redl, Ron Jackson, and James Lawson-Smith. Thank you all sooo much for your support, guidance, knowledge, and patience. Continue to live a life filled with light, love, and grace :)
