Choosing and Attracting The Right Career With The Law of Attraction

In order to live a happy and successful life, making the right career choice is of utmost importance. In fact, we spend almost 80% of our time at work and if we are not happy in our job, it will be reflected in the other areas of our life. If on the other hand, we make the right career choice right from the beginning and we do what we really love, our job will be fun and when we are happy, we will emit positive vibrations and we will as a result attract more positive things in our life.

Most of the time, we don’t really know what we want to do as job. We are conditioned by society, by our parents and friends to do the jobs which are considered as prestigious and which are highly remunerated. As such, we tend to do jobs which provide us with a high income even though we don’t really like what we are doing.

Our career choice should not only be based on what will provide us with the highest income, but it should be based on a number of other factors like, what we love doing, what are our talents and aptitudes, our personality type, etc. We can use the Law of Attraction to choose and manifest our ideal career in our life. According to the Law of Attraction, we attract into our lives, whatever we give our energy, attention and focus to, whether wanted or unwanted. If we want to attract our ideal career, first of all, we must be very clear about what we want. Most of the time, we only have a brief idea about the job we would like to do and as such, we tend to attract jobs that are not really appropriate for us. How do we become clear about what we want? Most of the time, it is very difficult to know exactly what we want in an ideal career. One of the best ways to become clear is to make a list of things that we don’t like in a job. We don’t have to focus on what we don’t want to attract but just examine briefly what we don’t want. Once we have made a list of around 50 things that we don’t want, we can proceed by making the list of things that we want in an ideal job. The things that we want are the exact opposite of the things that we don’t want. For example: (1) I don’t want to do a job where I am not happy, (2) I don’t want to have a boss, etc. We then write the exact opposite (1) I want a job where I am very happy (2) I want a job where I am my own boss.

Once we are clear about our ideal career, we must raise our vibration to attract our ideal job into our life. Remember, we do not get what we want but we get what we vibrate. We must therefore become a “vibrational match” to what we want in order to attract what we truly desire. How do we raise our vibration? We must make as if we already have the job that we truly desire and start experiencing how we would be feeling if we were already doing that job. We can use affirmations or use phrases like “I am in the process of attracting my ideal job” to raise our vibration to attract what we desire. We can also visualize what we want and make as if we already have it. We must however bear in mind that whether we are using affirmations or visualization, the most important thing is that we must feel what it would be like to already possess what we desire.

Once we have become clear about what we want and we have raised our vibration to attract our ideal job, the last step is to allow our ideal career to manifest in our life. Allowing is the absence of doubt. If we have a strong desire to attract our ideal job but at the same time, we have strong doubts, we will never be able to attract what we want because we will be sending mixed signals in the universe. If, on the other hand, we have a strong desire and some doubts, we will attract our ideal job, but it will take a little longer. The best combination for rapid manifestation of our ideal career is when we have a strong desire and no doubt at all. The right understanding and application of the Law of Attraction will definitely bring miraculous results in our lives.

We are all unique and are all here for a specific reason. Each one of us is born with specific talents and qualities and our mission is to discover what we are here for and do the job we are meant to do, since the world needs what we have to give. Discovering our true calling and doing the job we are designed to do will be our gift to this world and will allow us to live happier and more fulfilled lives. As Abraham Maslow rightly said “A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself.”
