Based on the discoveries of Albert Einstein and the ancient principles of acupuncture, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) often provides proven results for migraine headache relief. Newcomers who apply this simple process to themselves achieve relief 50% to 80% of the time and, in many cases, the relief is complete and permanent. More sophisticated uses by an EFT expert may be required for some migraine sufferers. The discovery behind this relief is that the underlying cause for most Migraine Headaches is NOT the chemical imbalance that the western healing sciences have presumed. Rather, it is (1) a disruption of the subtle energies circulating throughout the body and/or (2) unresolved emotional issues that manifest in the body as headaches. Both of these causes are simply addressed by the EFT process. No medications necessary. In essence, EFT resolves these causes by balancing the body's subtle energies. This is done by tapping with the fingertips on certain acupressure points. This stimulates the energy system and unblocks stagnating or disrupted energy. Properly done, most headaches noticeably improve....or vanish. You can learn all the basics of EFT through the free "Get Started Package" (including the free 79 page EFT Manual) at http://www.emofree.com/downloadeftmanual.htm Here are some examples: Carol Look, (carol@carollook.com) an EFT practitioner with a doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy, reports as follows: “John told me that after suffering from weekly and sometimes daily migraines since childhood, he hadn’t had a single migraine since the EFT treatment, which was between 5 and 6 years ago. He still doesn’t understand what went on in my office, but is thrilled with his relief.” ***************************************** Val is an EFT client whose life changed when she applied EFT to her migraines. “I am pleased to report that my Migraines have stopped! It takes a while to realize how much these Migraine attacks rule your life and what you do unconsciously to avoid situations which may bring one on. On the other hand, to realize that it would no longer be necessary to do so now – what a relief! So I can’t thank you enough for giving me a normal existence with the EFT. I have no idea how it works, but I can tell you it does, so keep up the good work.” Val, an EFT client. ************************************* Lindsay Kenny (lindasyk@pacbell.net) recounts her success with a client named “Sherry” who was stressed out with two rambunctious children under the age of four and three demanding jobs! “She also had frequent migraines, but at the time I was so new in my practice that I didn’t realize EFT would work for migraines. I taught Sherry EFT to help deal with the stress of her children and careers and she was so excited to know there was something to ease her emotional burden. Sherry had been using EFT for a couple of weeks for her stress with great success when she got hit one night with a horrific migraine. She called the next day to tell me how she was at her wit’s end with screaming kids, a must-meet deadline, and this killer migraine. Sherry was out of medication and out of her mind in pain, so she tried lying on the floor and tapping for relief, not knowing whether or not EFT would help. She said that relief came within minutes of tapping and that the migraine was completely gone in less than ten minutes. She was delighted and astounded, and so was I.” ************************************* Interestingly, EFT has addressed headaches of all kinds and often clears them up without any medications whatsoever. However, prudence would suggest consulting a physician even if the headache disappears permanently. If the symptoms reappear, more tapping is applied, because often, the headaches are caused by a variety of emotional events instead of just one. Clinical results have shown that basic social and self esteem issues developed in childhood are usually at the root of headaches. By realigning the energy meridians with respect to these basic issues like “I’m not likeable”, “I’m not good enough” or “The world is unsafe”, EFT also paves the way for a refreshing new level of inner peace in addition to addressing the headaches.
