Running on the treadmill of personal and professional life can create stress and exhaustion if we cannot find balance. A good attitude or positive affirmations can keep us going for a while until major conflicts may pull out the plug and cause us to short circuit.

When out of balance, we may feel discouraged, depressed and shut down or agitated, impatient or aggressive. It is our responsibility to find the balance each day. I find that my inner and outer awareness is like having one foot in and one foot out. This keeps me balanced and conscious of my emotional, physical and spiritual needs, at the same time I can be attentive to the people and experiences around me. Making healthy choices in the moment can keep us present and open. n
When we were children, our needs may not have been met and because of this experience, we went looking for or waiting for others to make us happy. I also realized that in the past I would control my days with busy-ness, trying to make success by working hard. It wasn’t until I shifted and had faith that when I was making healthy choices for myself, the universe was working for me and providing support. Choosing to listen to the voice within inspires me to take care of my needs so that no one else has to.

The other day a client was expressing her fear that her busy time had slowed down, gifting her some free time. She was used to being very busy and sometimes overloaded. The fear she felt was embraced with self-doubt and uncertainty of her future, stopping her from living fully in the beauty of the extra time for self. While she expressed to me her emotions, she had no faith in herself and this made her feel unfulfilled and scared. While she did The Inner Workout™, she released her lack of faith and fear, shifting her experience. Taking time for herself when feeling disillusioned, was the healthy choice that freed her spirit and opened her heart.

If we can have faith and move through our days, making healthy choices for ourselves, the reflection of our life will be fulfilling.

Are you willing to commit yourself to Love - the infinite presence of Spirit in your soul? If so, there are certain basic principles we need to understand about how we love. In our mentally polarized cultures that are dominated by a male energy that emphasizes doing and producing, we often unconsciously feel that in order to love we must act in certain ways. While this yang aspect of love is important, the primary aspect of love is yin - i.e., receptive, magnetic. Love does not require doing anything. It is a way of being present.
