Creating Your Own Reality
By
Sherri Rabinowitz
It sounds so simple. It sounds like magic, that you could just twitch your nose or wave a wand and poof, a new life. Sadly it does not happen that way. Nope, you have to work really hard and navigate a lot of ups and downs but if you do that you will get such a great gift.
I made a decision to change my life because my life at the time was such a disaster. You're not suppose to say it, you're supposed to say it was easy and my life was great and is now so much better. That was not my experience.
I was sick, I was miserable at work and I had just broke up with my last boyfriend. I was sooo sick that I couldn’t work and eventually left my job, which is a whole other tale of sadness and fear. Once I started to feel better, I decided that I was going to change my life not only for my happiness, but for my health.
I wanted the Bliss that so many spiritual people speak of. I wanted Joy and I wanted some loving people in my life. So I made the choice of not going back to Customer Service and becoming a freelance writer.
It has not been easy; I get the residuals for my book. I get paid by Google for my ads on my blogs. I get paid for my articles that I write for different publications. It came in dribs and drabs. Slowly it has gotten better. I have started to be able to pay my bills from earned money instead of my savings.
I moved, started to work out and changed my diet. I have also been on a deep spiritual search. I am not saying that I have made it. I don’t have a best seller or make lots of money but I am starting to get by which is saying something for me. I am changing my life slowly and for the better. It’s the journey that is important and from mine, I have learned a lot.
I have always been a spiritual seeker, I have studied and meditated and tried very hard to make my life more positive. It is a bumpy ride but I am creating the life that will bring me bliss, a little bit at a time.
