It is one of the most important in Croatia. It shelters about 80,000 exhibits from the Stone Age to the late Middle Ages. You should taste the home-made specialities and the famous liqueur Maraskino in one of the numerous bars and restaurants. At a smaller or greater distance from Zadar you can find more than 300 islands and islets.nnPrimosten is a town and harbour on a small peninsula, south-east of Sibenik. Primosten is noted for its various sports activities include beach volleyball, yachting, tennis, bowling, table tennis and so on. This town is also noted for its special food. If you come to Primosten and its surroundings, try traditional dishes like prosciutto, lamb, cheese in olive oil, roasted meat or the most famous local speciality, spiny lobster a la Primosten. Tasting Babic, the famous local red wine, is a must. In summer, numerous entertainment programs, shows and cultural events take place. Famouse is the Primosten fiesta in the first week in August. The important religious feast days of Our Lady of Loret on the 9th and 10th of May is a special experience. You gain insight to a foreign culture.n
