Daily Horoscope Full Moon in Virgo March 8, 2012

The full moon in Virgo arrives today, and it may be intense for some of us because it brings attention to needs and necessities, illuminating areas where we don't have it together yet. The feeling that the list is long and time is short may also creep in because Mercury is poised to go retrograde, and when it does, the most we can do is go over old things and make revisions. Today, as you look over what you've done during the last few week up until this culmination of a lunar cycle, you may feel that you come up short or there is definitely room for improvement. You may not be where you want to be, but you know you have to do what must be done. The dark side of Virgo is nitpicky, overly critical or condescending, but thankfully we have benevolent Jupiter in kind Taurus being joined by affectionate, pleasure loving Venus in Taurus now, and together, they form a supportive trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Mars in Virgo is also trine to Pluto. We can see the benefits of constructive thoughts and right action now - no matter how messy or uncertain something may appear, improvement is logical and attainable. When I was thinking of recognizable women who exhibit Virgo traits, J.K. Rowling's character, Hermione Granger, from the Harry Potter series, came to mind. Like an adaptable Virgo, she is part "muggle", part wizard and is capable of functioning well in both worlds. Like Mercury ruled Virgo, she has the right bits of information, no matter how obscure, at the right time. Like a cool, detached, efficient Virgo, who cares for the needs of others, her femininity is often overlooked. Like a purposeful Virgo, she is more conce
