father, symbolically, in this energy pattern. Do you need to approach an authority figure to make a request or gain approval? Now is the time to do so. Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Virgo are still doing a strange dance energetically, due to a quincunx between them. Don't be surprised if your romantic relationship swings from fussy to friendly, with an absence of passion or heat now. Strengthen your union by working on home improvement projects together or starting an exercise and diet routine, on which you can discuss and compare notes.
At midday, Mercury in Sagittarius forms a favorable trine to Jupiter in Taurus, which in my book, translates to "Let's eat lunch out!" Delicious ethnic food in large quantities shared with friends puts everyone in a good mood. If you can't take a winter vacation now, at least you can have a mini-escape in an atmospheric restaurant. This evening, the Gemini moon trines Venus in Aquarius, but forms a square to Mars in Virgo. Give flirting or romance a whirl, but don't be surprised if the object of your affections runs hot/cold, indecisive or loses interest. But you may make a good impression, anyway, or learn something you didn't know about your lover. Half the fun of courtship tonight is not knowing what might happen. If you are alone this evening, the same sort of indecisive restlessness could occur. You might anticipate reading a good book or enjoying a hobby, only to find your attention drifting before too long. Paradoxes and oddities could be appealing now. Sift through them in your mind to see if they are pointing out an emotional need you have been ignoring or a hidden talent or interest you might study more deeply.
