A full moon in the cardinal water sign of Cancer arrives late Sunday evening/early Monday morning. I decided to write about it today, because for all intents and purposes, the energy can be felt and meditated upon today. This morning, the Cancer moon intensifies your emotions as it opposes Pluto in Capricorn. I just received an email from a friend who told me she had an "aha" moment that provided an answer to a question about a block or delay she has been experiencing for some time now. gave me the mental image of a tide coming in, allowing a large ship that had run aground on the sand to return to sea.

The moon/Pluto opposition this morning may bring an awareness of resistance, blockage, or control issues. It may show you where you must transform, destroy or jettison something or claim your own personal power. It can show you where you must say, "Enough!". By midday, when the moon/Pluto opposition fades, there is a lull. The absence of any major aspects to the moon before it moves into opposition to the sun tonight can help you to identify your feelings and be in observation mode. Where should you "plant" or what should you "nurture" and "feed"? Cancer can represent the infant stage of life, and Capricorn, the mature, responsible, adult stage. Are there areas of your life where you are keeping yourself weak, helpless, or allowing yourself to be dependent on others or are you allowing someone else in your life to be dependent on you and shirk their responsibilities? Between the Goldilocks dilemma of too soft or too hard, there is an emotional place of "just right". Use the energy of the full moon in Cancer to find it.
