Dallas Breast Augmentation Stories
Written by Jitesh Arora
In this article you will discover the step by step procedure of breast augmentation surgery. The surgery starts with an incision. The incisions are made at some specific places to make them practically invisible after the surgery. The complexity of the surgery depends on the expectations of the person who is going under the surgery.
Once the incision is made the surgeon creates a pocket for the implant. The implant is placed in the pocket which is made by the surgeon. Most of the time the mammoplasty is accompanied by breast lift operation which is also known as mastopexy.
There are various types of implants which are used in mammoplasty for example inflatable and filled implants. The inflatable implant is rolled and placed inside the canal made by the surgeon. The filling of implant with saline solution is the last step of the operation. If s patient has opted for a filled implant then the incision made is larger.
Like all other surgeries breast augmentation is also having some risks. The first risk which is associated with any surgery is infection. Most of the surgeons prescribe antibiotics for prevention of infections in post operative period.
Some people complain of hematoma after the surgery. Hematoma is accumulation of blood under the skin. Sometimes rare cases of implant rupture in post operative period are seen. If a person under going mammoplasty does not have a history of a disease, such as diabetes, or other serious illness then he is a right candidate for the plastic surgery.
