Design Your Destiny

Your intention, partnered with your attention, creates the world you inhabit. What do you choose when beliefs occur unbidden, sweeping you in the tragic trajectory of negative illusions? The separation that you experience from another, as well as the gap you feel in reaching for your dreams comes into being with your focus.

Creating your world may appear random at times, and even chaotic, but there is a design to it. You’ll want to anchor yourself into the scaffolding of your (1) thoughts, (2) words and (3) actions. These three elements are the pathway from your intention to actualization.

It ALL begins within you, with the inner world and the stead stream of sustenance – positive or negative – that you feed it. Notice whether your self talk frees you or limits you. Are you saying things to yourself that you would never say to another person? Are there habitual phrases that you repeat about yourself that don’t serve you? You choose whether you fuel your inner world with pain or purpose.

The next elements in your scaffolding are your words. Your internal dialogue gives rise to your voice. Even if you don’t say what you ‘really’ think, the energy of it comes through. There is no other being in creation that has the gift of speaking. Notice how the spoken word has the power to lift, as well as, level you. Think of the power of prayers and mantras. Imagine your words as incantations full of power and promise. Choose words that embody the essence of what you are wanting to bring into being.

The last vital element is taking action. All the powerful intentions and empowering words will not bring your intentions into being without action. Your inner world and your words can shape the energy of your intention, but it is the activation of your intention through action that will shape your intention most. Every action clarifies your intention and brings it to life.

Think of these three – thought, words and actions – as the triumvirate of manifesting your intentions. Each one gives rise to the other. Each one further shapes potential. Each one designs your destiny.
