How to Develop A Business Plan.
Written by Anita Biggins
Create a solid business plan so you can maintain your business long term. It takes time and effort to make your business profitable. Some customers will buy right away and others won't. The integrity of your business will increase over time. Here is a list of things that you must plan to make it successful: Choose a budget; Schedule daily time to work your business; create short and long term goals.
It does cost money to effectively advertise; I believe money spent on a website or blog is an investment. My spending budget per month is $30. I use the $30 to keep my rank as an executive affiliate with SFI. Plus it gives me 200 T credits which I can spend at Triple Clicks. I am buying professional development books for Internet Marketing.
There are three more wise things that I have done. I found a credit card with a 0% interest for 12 months. This way I do not have to worry about paying it off quickly. If you enjoy using your talents money will follow. I obtained a side job to pay for a business expenses, I am a newspaper carrier. I set up a separate checking account for business. This way I don't feel like I am taking money from my family.
2.) Set aside some time to work on your business every day.
I work on my business while my daughter is at preschool. Find time in schedule when you have free time. and make good use of it.
3.) Create short term goals; here is a list of some ideas.
Strive to obtain at least 1500 Sales and Action Versa Points each month. A team leader needs to obtain 1500 sales points and 1500 action points each month. Sales points can be gained through your personal purchases.
Commit yourself to learning new Internet marketing skills. Find enjoyable ways to promote your business that you will want to do daily. I enjoy blogging every day and sharing valuable Internet marketing skills through Facebook, Twitter and EzineArticles.
Build up trust and relationships with friends who also promote products on the Internet. These friends have been useful in learning new places to promote SFI.
Learn and use the products that you are promoting. Visitors will be more delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good about the product and how the product will benefit them.
4.) Create long term goals
Your long term goal is to sell your products and bring new people into the company. It isn't always so easy to make sells. Some people may buy right away and others will not. However the longer you stay in business the more successful you will become. There is a lot to learn about Internet marketing. Each day you practice your Internet marketing skills you learn what works and what doesn't. Each day you are building a reputation for your business by what you say and do. Remember everyone wants to be successful but very few are.
The most common reason people don't achieve success is that they expect "instant gratification" and they give up and drop out before their business has a chance to get some traction and succeed. There is no magic to online business, it takes sufficient time and effort to achieve online business success... just like any type of business a person chooses to develop.
