Unpleasant odor coming from the mouth is called bad breath or halitosis and is a common issue among many people. Bad Breath is also a sign of unhygienic lifestyle. It may be caused by some food items, poor oral hygiene, dry mouth, digestive problems, low carb diet, dental problems or production of different mouth bacteria. A balanced diet with high fiber fruits and vegetables in our diet is beneficial in halitosis. Avoid taking processed food or the food which have strong odor.
DIET CHART FOR BAD BREATH
EARLY MORNING: Warm water / Coriander+ mint juice
BREAKFAST
- Broken wheat porridge
- Veg Semolina (veg upma)
- Veg Vermicelli
- Veg Idli
- Brown Bread Sandwich
- Semolina pancake
- Besan pancake (gram flour)
- Missi Roti
- Oats
- Stuffed Chapatti
- Chapatti with Veg or Dal
- Skimmed Milk
MID MORNING: Fruit / Fruit juice / Herbal tea / Coconut water/ lemon water
LUNCH: Chapatti+ Rice + Salad + Vegetable + Dal / Chicken (Once in week)
EVENING TIME: Roasted chane / homemade soup / Vermicelli / Herbal tea
DINNER: Chapatti + Vegetable + Dal

Onion, garlic, Frozen vegetablesr FRUITS

All fruits such as Mango, Banana, Orange, Kiwi, Water melon, Musk melon, Pomegranate, Sapodilla, Guava, Litchi, Strawberries, Peaches, Plums, Figs, Cherries, Berries, Avocado, and Guava leaves.

TIPS TO PREVENT BAD BREATH
- Brush your teeth after you eat.
- Floss at least once a day.
- Brush your tongue.
- Clean dentures or dental appliances.
- Avoid dry mouth.
- Eat balanced diet.
- Regularly get a new toothbrush.
- Schedule regular dental checkups.
