Do you know why you where born? What’s your purpose in life? From 1999 until 2006, I searched for my purpose in life. Your purpose may not be something you discover right away, rather it is part of a process. Discovering your purpose requires that you carefully examine where you are and where you are heading.n n Towards the end of 1999, my grandmother passed away. For several days I was able to reflect upon my life’s direction. For the first time in my life, I thought about my own mortality. I wondered, what would happen if I died the following month? What if I died the following year? In five years? What would I be remembered for? What would be written on the tombstone over my grave? It was then that I decided to search for my life’s purpose.
You may be asking, but how do I find my purpose? The first step is to identify that for which you feel passionate about. Once you’ve identified your passion, you’re on the right track. When you’re passionate about something, you will have the energy required to reach your purpose. Once you’ve identified what you’re passionate about, you’ll achieve extraordinary results, because you’re doing what you love and you love what you’re doing.
Passionate people have more energy, enthusiasm, they never get tired, they’re willing to do more and have a desire to live more. On the other hand, those who’ve yet to identify their, will also have less energy and determination. Passion gives you the strength and energy to do what you love to do. It’s hard to come across someone who’s passionate about doing what they love, and is not getting the desired results.
Sometimes you may feel that you can’t put a finger on what it is that turns you on. If you’re looking for different options and alte
atives, you’ll be glad to know that there are many tools available for you. What’s important is that you take action as soon as possible. There are professional resources that can help you identify your strengths and areas of opportunity.
Successful people reach their goals, partly because they have the energy to do what they enjoy doing. They always have the strength to go on because they are passionate about what they do. In life there are many things that capture our attention, but only a few of them, capture our hearts. These are the ones worth remembering. These are the ones worth following.
