One of the essential things you should know with your website is that you need to diversify your income.

Let's say most of your ads are with Google AdSense. Say that it makes up 90% of your online earnings. Let’s suppose Google will terminate your account! You would lose 90% of your online revenue, then what would you do? Would you be able to recover your losses immediately? Most people would not.

Therefore if you have a website, expand your earnings by not only utilizing Pay Per Click sponsors, but perhaps use a Direct Leads sponsor, a cost per action sponsor, or by promoting products or services and be paid a commission for it.
You just need to check the performance of your website. Ensure that you are checking your stats to see which banners and ads are doing well and swap out the ones that aren't functioning as well. It's also a fine idea to alternate your banners every few months anyway to get "fresh blood" on your site. The visitors will become "banner blind" after awhile and will soon overlook all of your ads and banners.
Expanding your online income also consists of opening other websites.

Currently, I have more than a few sites that I acquire earnings from. Roughly 4 months back, Google banned one of my websites from their search engine!
