It has been said that the eyes are the windows of your soul. Well there is nothing more devastating than looking into a loved ones eyes, and not seeing anyone home. Instead you encounter the sadness, fear and devastation of Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Alzheimer Statistics
According to the Alzheimer’s Association, every 60 seconds someone in the United States develops Alzheimer’s. By the year 2050, a new patient will succumb to the disease every 33 seconds.
These are alarmingly statistics, to say the least. The disease has now reached epidemic proportions, with 5.4 millio
Americans—including one in eight people aged 65 and over—living with Alzheimer’s disease.
In the next twenty years, it is projected that Alzheimer’s will affect one in four Americans. Should that happen, Alzheimer’s will be more widespread than obesity and diabetes is today!
What is Alzheimer’s?
Alzheimer's disease is also known as simply Alzheimer's, and Senile Dementia of the Alzheimer Type (SDAT). Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia. The disease is progressive and worsens over time eventually becoming terminal.
It is a neurological disease of the brain leading to the irreversible loss of neurons and the loss of intellectual abilities. This includes loss of memory and reasoning, which become severe enough to hinder social or occupational functioning.

impact of every other risk factor like exposure to aluminum,
mercury, or even genetic predispositions

• Heart disease and atrial fibrillation (44% more likely)

Antihistamines, sleep aids, certain antidepressants,
Medications to control incontinence, and certain narcoticr
Pain relievers)
