You want to write a book. Here are some tips to make itnhappen as quickly as possible:

Whatever you write about, don't be boring.

Choose topics people want to read about or write about theninteresting events in your life. Make sure your book nintrigues, inspires, entertains or educates readers.
You book can also offer solutions to peoples' problems.

Write daily if possible.

Many new authors start the writing process all gung-hononly to stop for days or even longer.

A writer who procrastinates usually finds that thenprocrastination gets worse over time, often resultingnin him ceasing to write altogether. Therefore, it is na good idea to write daily, if not, as often as nhumanly possible.

That being said, some authors have a different way ofndoing things so writing daily isn't a hard and fast rule.
Whichever technique you use to motivate yourself to writenis what you should continue using.

Formulate an outline.

This is particularly important for novice authors. To nminimize rewrites and improve consistency, it is bette
to know what will happen on your next page before you nactually write it. Having an outline allows you to do that.

How do create an outline? You do this by spending anfew minutes asking yourself a series of questions andnanswering them.

For example, ask yourself, what is the location of thenthe setting? - what does the landscape look like? - whatnis the demeanor of the lead character? - why is the leadnfeeling the way he does? - how is he dressed and why? Itnis more effective for an author to formulate a plot bynasking and answering questions than it is by consideringnstatements.

Keep writing

Continue going forward until your book is finished.
Then you can look at changing what needs to be changed.

Doing anything other than actual writing is more andistraction than anything else. Besides the outcome isnusually better when you write freely as opposed to tryingnto be a perfectionist by editing as you go along.

Schedule a writing time

Whether you decide to write for at least 30 minutes o
3 hours, the crucial thing is that you're not disturbednnor do you cut short your writing time. You'll find thatnbecause of this discipline, the quality of your writingngets better.

Leave research until the end

If you reach a point in your writing where research isnnecessary, simply make a note of that point and keep ngoing.

Researching is a fun thing to do, but it can hamper you
progress if you get bogged down in it too early. Better tondo it after the manuscript is finished. After that, you cannlook back at areas you need to do research on and get theninformation you need.

If you follow these tips, you'll find that you're wellnon your way to finishing your book in good time.nn
