Do You Know What You Want In Life?

Dear friend, are you wandering through life with little direction - hoping that you'll find happiness, health and prosperity? What do you value most? Do You Know What You Want?

The most important thing in your life is to know what you want. It is in knowing that the victory is half won.
There is nothing as helpless as a rudderless ship in a gale. It goes in all directions with each succeeding wave and wind.

So it is with the individual who has no definite aim in life.

One of the greatest gifts that you can give to your self is that of spending some quiet time, to relax and reflect on your life.
There all things are made clear and understandable. Concentrate on the things that you want. Don’t believe that you can solve the problem in a few minutes. Give it time, plenty of time. Give it thought, plenty of thought.
Do you remember the story of the hare and the tortoise? How the tortoise won the race because he plodded on and kept his eyes on the goal and did not stop to rest or chase flies. The hare, with victory in his grasp, lay down by the side of the road for a nap.

That’s how he lost the race.
Emulate the tortoise rather than the hare. They are a great number of people who start off on a job with speed and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, they tire easily and must lie down to rest. Those who work along steadily and steadfastly are the ones who will reach the goal first. They are the winners.

They may not be as brilliant or as dashing as the speeders, but their attainments are more lasting.
They have learned the lesson of sticking to it until victory is won and I KNOW YOU CAN DO THE SAME.
