Don't Think Peanuts!

When we think small, like the size of a peanut, we become small. When we think large, like the size of a watermelon, we become large. The first step in achieving is believing. The second step is in the process of doing to achieve. Why do many of us think so small? Maybe its because we have never been told how special we really are. Or maybe its because we've been beaten down so many times that we finally decided to accept mediocrity, or what the world expects.

What does the world expect from or teach us? The real answer is not much. The world, or the enemy enjoys mediocrity. It enjoys failure, or worldly success from false hope in achieving more from tangibles and not the intangibles in life. It enjoys the negativity from being put down or told what we can or cannot do with our lives, and much more.

This is our life, not the world's. If we want a better life, make it a better life. If we want to be physically fit, more sociable, and travel the world, then go do it! In moving forward to become better, motivational Speaker Jawar (www.Jawarspeaks.com) lays it out the best with his words of "Think, Plan, Execute." For this is what Sylvester Stallone did when he roomed with his brother in New York in the early days. He wanted to become an actor, but knew that looks would not get him in. What did he do? He wrote a book, in which drew the attention of Movie Producers to make a film about. Initially the film producers did not want to make the movie with Sylvester Stallone, but it was his book, and he wasn't going to be told once again by the world that he will not get into acting because of his looks, especially on a story that he wrote. Today we know Sylvester Stallone as a household name because of his will to not give up and become the person he desired to be. Him and millions of others have done the same thing with their lives, and continue to do so without being affected by the limited size of their thinking. As John Johnson, founder of Johnson Publishing company put it: "Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth, not by the color of their skin, but by the size of their hope." Some people do have easier journey's then others, that is a fact in life. But its those that make something from hardly anything or nothing that become something even more than what the world wants or expects. For when this happens, the issue that is now faced is not allowing the world to pull us back down since the world would rather see darkness and not the bright lights.
"Change the picture and you will change your life...When things change inside of you, things will change around you." These are the words of legendary salesman and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar.

I do believe that life change begins with both inspiration and education, for I have learned this myself several times, and continue to do so in my everyday living. If you were to ask me what are the common traits of successful living, there are four in particular that I live by:

1) Having Passion in what I do (For Belief is what Fuels my Passion).

2) Be Coachable (I do not know everything, and can only grow in learning the things I can fix or do not know in life).

3) Be Committed (Self disciplined in doing the things I want or do not want to do to become the person I want to be).

4) Be EXCITED!!! (Excitement in everything is what adds Fuel to my Fire to become the person I want to be in life and to encourage others in doing the same).

I encourage everyone to do the same with their lives, no matter who or what may be bringing us down. Again, this is our life, and not someone else's. For we are what we think, we are what we eat, we are what we read, we are who associate with, we are what we are. Change the picture in life by changing the size of our thinking and move forward.

I was watching my six and nine year old daughters playing the other morning when suddenly there was a barrage of I Hate You and I Don't Like You Anymore statements flying about the room. Of course, it was just a moment of disagreement in child play, but the thoughts and feelings were real enough to them at that moment.
