As a fitness coach online, I have received many different types of questions online and have also come across many individuals who want to lose weight. This is something that many people do not understand. If you want to lose weight, there are more than one factor which will contribute to your success. Exercise is only one of the contributors to your future fat loss success, but it can help you accelerate the process of fat loss. Another factor for weight loss is to your diet. The most important trick to fat loss is to understand that the journey to fitness requires a change in your current lifestyle and habits and lots of perseverance to work hard until you succeed.
The following are some tips to help you achieve a successful transformation to a lean and fit body!
First of all, you should start eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. These are high in fiber content, with lots of nutrients and very low in calories. By taking more of them, you will feel full easily, and chances of you over eating are drastically reduced. This is because they have high fiber content.
Next, you should stop drinking soda drinks! Each can of soda, including diet soda, contains at least 5 to 10 teaspoons of sugar! Though sugar is not fats, but such high levels of consumption of sugar will cause your insulin and blood sugar levels to spike, resulting in your metabolism rate to come crashing down. This is why drinking too much soda drinks will cause you to gain weight very quickly!
Start taking more whole foods, and take less processed foods. Go for foods made from natural ingredients instead of artificial preservatives or lots of salts and additives. Foods high in salt content will cause you to retain more water within your body. This is a phenomenon known as water retention, which will cause you to look bloated and chubby all over your body, especially your face.
Lastly, you should choose plain water as a beverage. Plain water contains no calories and fills you up easily. Most people mistake their feeling of thirst for hunger, and usually end up over eating. By drinking more plain water, the chances of you over eating is lowered. Your lean muscle mass is also made up of mostly plain water, therefore, by drinking more water, you will increase your lean muscle mass, and result in a higher metabolism rate!
