“What’s the secret?”...”What do you do in your marketing that makes your home base franchise so successful?”... “Tell me your inside scoop to your home based business franchise success”…”Give me exactly what you do every day”…
The questions are never ending when seeking the winning lottery ticket of being a successful home base franchise entrepreneur. While I am going to give you eight “secrets” to the best home base business success; the bottom line is that there is no secret and your success depends on YOU. If you have read anything that I write with any consistency, this particular statement should not be a surprise to you.
You need to get very clear on what you want and why you want it. Once you have your goals and desires seared permanently and deeply into your brain...you need to take the action to move you closer to your goal. Each day, when filled with action, will take you a step, maybe two, closer to your success. You cannot give up and you must persist without question. The arrival to your goals and desires will depend upon never giving up. Once you give up…you’ve admitted defeat and the game is over.
Best Home Based Business Franchise Secrets to Steal
1. Do what you love. “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.” Do you love what you are doing? Do you love the home base franchise that you are creating? Do you go to bed thinking about what you want to accomplish the next day and do you wake up with a tinge of excitement to get to your office to start to create your great destiny? Don’t take these words lightly…because if you are not passionate about what you are doing and you are not seeing the success that you are looking to see….maybe you want to think about self-correcting your course and find something that you can be passionate about.
2. Take advantage of every opportunity that steps into your path. Keep an open mind about every opportunity that comes your way, whether they are money makers or not. No matter how big or how small the opportunity may seem to you at the time. You never know where these opportunities may lead you in the future.
We all make choices...hundreds, sometimes thousands each day. With each choice there is a new opportunity for you to take advantage of. Some will yield extraordinary pay-offs, some may take you that next step closer to your home base franchise goal, some will be there to teach you a valuable lesson , but each choice, each opportunity you take will shape your destiny.
3. Satisfy a need. Make sure that the products and/or services you are marketing and selling in your home base franchise satisfies a need to your niche market.
4. Use a consistent brand message. Realize what your unique selling point is in your product and service within your home base franchise and then run that USP in everything that you do. When our family had our restaurants…our unique selling point was homemade food with family service. Everything we did was homemade from scratch that morning. Homemade soups, hand-pattied burgers, homemade chili sauce for the hot dogs…all served with the intent of exceptional value to the customer. My parents would go and talk with everyone. I would try to welcome each person as they entered the restaurant. We committed our regular customer’s names to memory.
We met the need for a small town with affordable homemade food with exceptional service and while our restaurants continually expanded we never lost focus of why we were in business and what made our restaurants unique.
5. Know what works. Ask your customers why they bought and more importantly why they did not. Send out surveys on your products and services. Ask your customers what you can improve on. As you gather this valuable information…listen and make adjustments. What works for your home base franchise this year…may not be the home run for you next year. Always know what is working for your business and tweak your plan as your customers needs and wants change.
6. Have energy and enthusiasm. Energy can be boundless and infectious. Many companies with an inferior product and service succeed because of their energy, their enthusiasm and their passion for what they do. Have both a great product and service with unlimited energy and enthusiasm and you will create the magic that you are looking for the best home based business franchise.
7. Keep a strong work ethic. Very few things are accomplished by a free ride, and if they are….typically the success is not a sustaining success. Hard, focused work can change your life. The choice is yours and once again I will ask…if you are not seeing the success you want in your life…what actions, what activity are you creating to get to your success? Are you persistent in your actions day in and day out? Whether you work 4 hours a day or 12 hours a day is up to you…just make sure the hours you do commit to are solid, focused and passionate.
8. Surround yourself with believers. Don’t work or get caught up with people who do not believe in you and your mission. If you do, they will only help to bring you down. Building your home base franchise is challenging enough and you do not have time for anyone but those who believe in you, have faith in you and cheer for your success.
Can you think of other “secrets” for your home base franchise success? Probably, but these will get you started. Take action today. Be persistent today. Create something great for yourself and others today.

The Greatest Story Ever Sold
Back in the late 1980’s, the Honda Motor Company ran a memorable series of commercials, the basic premise of which was that the company’s cars were so amazing, they sold themselves. This commercial’s “hook” was that it featured a salesman who was bored out of his mind and had nothing to do because the cars were so in demand they were practically walking off the lot. The brand’s slogan at the time was “Honda, the car that sells itself.” Ha!

Decision-Maker or Decision-Faker?
Excerpt from the book "Chase the Championship - Kicking Ass, Taking Names and Becoming a Dealmaker!" Stay far away from the boss’s underlings when you are in search of a decision. The heads of Marketing, IT, Human Resources, or whoever else is part of the “decision-making chain” for the product or service that you are selling should never be the people that you go after for a commitment.
