I just had to take some time to give serious props to a new product I’ve been using. Before I start touting how good this product is let me first tell you my very first experience using it. I was on the beach all day about five years ago and committed the worst sin on the beach. I fell asleep. When I woke up three hours later I had the worst sunbur
I’ve ever had. I’m talking REALLY bad. I had a fever, even considered going to the hospital. After suffering all afte
oon, crying, whining, my wife talked me into going outside to get some fresh air by going down to the pool bar for a drink. It was our vacation so she was fired up and ready to go, but here I was just suffering. She talked me into it and I was so glad she did.
After going downstairs I ran into some guys at the bar and was looking like a lobster. The bartender asked me if I had ever tried Emu Oil for sunbu
s. I had never heard of emu oil so I laughed it off, but at this point I was ready to try anything to save my life. He directed me to a local guy that sold this stuff in a semi-farmer’s market not more than a ten minute walk down the beach. Now keep in mind for me to get up and actually walk that far meant this guy had told me story after story about this stuff until I finally realized I either do something about this or just drink myself into a comma. Knowing my wife was going to kill me if I didn’t do something about this so I could have a good time with her I decided to give it a shot.
I can’t tell you how thankful I am to this bartender for talking me into walking ten minutes, which felt like a marathon, to get this amazing product. Once I met up with the vendor, he told me to soak myself immediately right there on the beach and he gave me a business card with the website and instruction sheet. It read, http://www.pure-emu-oil.com He told me to go back to the hotel and once the oil has soaked in to soak myself again. Keep in mind I was blistered, the burn was so bad and it even hurt to put the oil on my skin. I can honestly say within an hour I noticed the pain had slightly subsided. I was very dehydrated and tired so once I got home I soaked myself again and went to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up, soaked myself again.
Upon waking the next day I noticed a considerable difference. I wasn’t out of the woods and I was still very red and my skin was still very hot, but I soaked myself again upon waking up. The sleep had done a lot for me as I wasn’t sick feeling anymore, but I can honestly say I noticed a considerable difference in my skin. I think the oil simply was keeping the skin moist and at the very least I had some relief from that burning.
After breakfast my wife had plenty of plans scheduled for us so the next 48 hours was jammed packed full of activities and fun. Time went by fast, but I was soaking myself in this emu oil every 4 hours or so. I soaked myself one last time before bed and at this point I wasn’t really thinking about my burn any longer, it was there, but I just wasn’t thinking about it as much and I’m sure the vacation activities had a lot to do with that too.
Now here’s where I really started noticing a change. On the second day, when I woke up, I was getting dressed, shaving and looking in the mirror I noticed my burn was completely different. It was completely pain free, slightly red, but my skin was not hot, burning, or hurting like it was just 48 hours before. Think about what I just said. I’m not in any way exaggerating. This stuff had really worked. I wasn’t even thinking about my burn any longer. I was seriously considering going to the hospital just 48 hours prior and now I’m not feeling pain at all. Really? My vacation was saved! Now here’s the next thing I noticed that really through me for a loop. Towards the end of my vacatio
I expected to come home looking like I had gotten leprosy from my skin peeling.
Here this well……I didn’t even peel. Just five day prior I had one of the worst sunbu
s I’ve ever had and now I’m heading home without even peeling? Get real! I don’t know what else to say. That stuff is awesome.
