So, what exactly is the energy body and how does it work? There has been a lot written about this phenomena and although it has yet to be fully corroborated by science and the medical world, it is believed in esoteric teachings that it is an integral part of a human’s being-ness and maintaining a healthy energy body enables a person to be free from physical and emotional ailments.
The energy body is basically energy which surrounds the physical body. It is moulded around the physical body and therefore is a similar shape to the person it is part of. It has a number of names: aura, etheric double, doppelganger and even when a person dies, for a period of time, the energy body remains and can appear as a fluidic ghost like apparition. Which is why ‘haunted sightings’ around cemeteries are so prevalent.
As everything on the planet is made up of energy, from the table leg to the atmosphere, just vibrating at a different level, it stands to reason that our own energy body is closely connected to the planet and the elements that are a part of Earth’s basic composition.
That being the case, the energy body is dependent on these elements of nature. As a human being we are utterly dependent on nature, indeed, without the ‘Earth’ and the food she provides, we would have no physical existence. Going a little deeper, it could be said that the Laws of Nature rule our existence. There is no man-made structure that can stop a tsunami, earthquake or volcano. If the planet chooses to erupt - we, as humans, have to accept the inevitable.

What has become known as childhood infectious illnesses are the training ground of achieving and maintaining balance in their life as an adult. The ability to react appropriately to stimuli is a learning process. If a lion comes up and bites you, you should bleed! If a child is challenged by microbes their body should react appropriately by producing a fever and the lymph nodes should be activated.

Health Care Reformation: A Modern Day Horror Story
I was just a young doctor when I first toured the Heidelberg Castle in Germany. As is the case in many castles in Europe the narrow passage was dank and poorly lit. What light there was cast eerie shadows on the carefully placed stones that made up the walls leading to the alchemy lab. A sign on the wall read “No Photographs May Be Taken of the Alchemy Lab!” It struck me as odd at the time, that one could take pictures of any other room in the monstrously large Heidelberg Castle, just not this one.
