Do you find your energy levels slumping halfway through the day even when you've had a decent night's sleep? If you want to boost your energy levels without having to take boat loads of caffeine, try exercise. With just a few minutes of work a day, you'll find yourself energized and ready to go. nnWorking out on a regular basis, even for as little as 20 minutes 3-5 times a week will maximize your energy levels and keep you from falling asleep halfway through the day. Studies also show that regular exercise will facilitate a better night's sleep. You'll fall asleep faster and have a more restful sleep. In addition to added energy levels you may be able to drop a little bit of extra baggage. Exercise is also one of the best stress relievers around. nnMost people identify exercise as a rigorous hour and a half training session that leaves you dropping to your knees. If you simply want to boost your energy levels this is not necessary. Twenty minutes of light exercise, 4 times a week. will do the trick. Try and space the exercise out to every other day so your body is used to it. If you want to do more than 4 days a week more power to you, but try not to do less, or you'll break your habit.nnThe exercise can include any number of things; walking the kids to school, taking a light jog, mowing the lawn, even yoga are all easy ways to boost your energy levels. In the time it takes you to check your email or chat on the phone you could be boosting your energy levels. And this can be done practically any time; on your lunch, in the morning, after work, etc. The choice is yours. What are you waiting for? Get off the couch and start.nnFor more info on exercise and to find new routines go to All day Energy
