The true path to happiness in life comes from not only knowing one's self, but seeing clearly all that is around us. We can perceive things as they are in relation to how we feel, how we think, and how we act. To reach a state of pure enjoyment, that flowing feeling of being connected, one must let go of the act of controlling ourselves and surroundings. To see what is real in our present state of being is to transcend the belief that we must alter it first. In judgment, we align our thoughts with how the world must be. In fear, we enact a sense of being that is not real but a wavering presence relying solely on emotion. We create our own imbalances by not simply seeing the truths as they are. Seeing what is really happening prevails all else. We look at the world solely through where we stand at the moment, constantly altering our perception to fit our needs. To let go of this not only allows movement, growth, and freedom in ourselves but gives us the moment. To be present in the truth of now simply for what it is, without trying to fit ourselves into it, without relying on perception but clarity. To enact this way of being requires truth within ourselves, a letting go of ways of relating to the world and ourselves. There is so much freedom in allowing yourself to just be, without controlling one's actions, thoughts, or emotions. It is in this act of controlling that we alter ourselves. In truth, we are, we are not another. We are not in charge of ourselves if we let ourselves just be. When we do this, it is far easier to let the world be as it is as well. When we stop managing ourselves, we can then be present. From this place comes reality, the pure and simple truth of what is. We allow ourselves to move forward as we should. We let go, and in this there is peace. There is the possibility of not only truth but enlightenment for ourselves and our jou ey through the world that exists within us and outside of ourselves.

I found myself from a very early age always seeking, on a constant quest to understand. I feel most comfortable learning and this desire correlates with a need to connect and help others. That is why in the beginning I chose acupuncture as a career, it seemed like a perfect fit. But I found a lack of compassion directed towards the center of being, not only in myself but others. I ended up in a situation that changed all this. I found who I was and who I am meant to be. It all clicked and came together. My desire for knowledge and ete al desire to really see and help others has brought me to this place in time.
