Enlightenment -- "Let there be light" Genesis 1:3

In the light means living with love. Light is defined as that which makes things visible, that which affords illumination. All colors depend on light. Without light we would not have the sublime variations of color on our beautiful mother earth.

In our world of duality, we are given both the light and the dark. To know one is to understand the other. The two are interchangeable. To have one, we must have the other. In the world of Spirit, in the unmanifested, all is One. We are all part of the Great One Spirit - no separation, no contrasts of light and dark. We are all part of the Great I Am - the Great One Spirit.

Cosmic consciousness is defined as a knowing of this great oneness, a feeling and knowledge of this great secret of expanding consciousness. It is an experience that there is no separation - just one continious flow of the life force, the divine Presence, our Creator. All names for the workings of the Great Spirit in our world.

From "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda:
According to Albert Einstein in his mathmatical problem solving, the velocity of light, 186,000 miles per second, is the only constant of a universe in flux. The famous equation, E=MC2 is described as "The energy in any particle of matter is equal to its mass or weight multiplied by the square of the velocity of light. Light velocity is a mathmatical standard not because of the absolute value of 186,000 miles per second, but because no material body, who mass increases with its velocity, can ever attain the velocity of light." Stated another way, "Only a material body whose mass is infinite could equal the velocity of light."

Yogananda relates to this theory. "Masters who can materialize and dematerialize their bodies and other objects and move with the velocity of light, and utilize the creative light rays to bring into visibility any physical manifestation have fulfilled the Lawful Condition: their mass is infinite."

Enlightenment can be an experience of total union with God Goddess. The light can come in and dispel any "darkness" or negativity. In Spirit do we still have the duality? Can duality actually be the one continuous ebb and flow of the one great creative force that unites us all?

"Is God's Will What's Happening?" (my poem) Could every experience of good and evil be a chance to get things into harmony? Maybe in the depths of us we are all already enlightened. We are already an important part of the divine whole, a spark of the infinite, a star waiting to be born anew.

Every experience is a chance to bring forth the light already inherent within each one of us. A chance to "make things visible," to show the truth, and to answer any question with love.

Our "crown chakra," opens to the light of the sun. (Son or Daughter) The light of our Oneness with all that is and ever shall be. The light of the true Son or Daughter of God becomes the holy Love made manifest. That Love makes all things flourish and grow and brings the light of union with our own Divine Self.nn©2006 Merry C.
