We all know that January is the time to set goals. We make an extra effort to think about what we want to change in our habits and achieve in the coming year. Yet, as we all know, the best intentions very often do not lead us to the results we so dearly want. Now that January is over and you are settling in to your usual (bad!) habits-Let’s take a look and see what we can really do to help you achieve your goals this year...
So how do we make 2014 the year where we truly achieve our goals? Here are some of the tools we have found make a difference when it comes to focusing your mind to help you get what you really want; The first important step is to clearly define your outcome. “What is your goal-and what will it get for YOU?” This may sound obvious but people often set goals with no real outcome in mind. Do you have a clear picture of what your goals will get for you? If not, its time to get that clear picture…NOW!! How often have your said to yourself “I’m going to lose weight “or “I’m going to be more healthy and happy” or “I’m going to get a better job”. This is a great start, but unless you know how much weight you want to lose, what ways you want to be healthier or what a better job means to you, chances are you will soon lose focus and not achieve your much wanted goals. It would be like getting into your car and driving around without knowing where you are going. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow your journey is; unless you know exactly what your destination is, how are you ever going to get there?
The next step is to make a decision about what you can actually do to help yourself achieve your goals. What are you going to do, where will you go? Who will you speak with? What will you say? Have you noticed that when you’ve made up your mind to buy something, say a particular make of car, you begin to notice that make or model everywhere you go? Those cars have always been there but because you’ve been focusing on that particular brand, your brain starts pointing them out to you.
The same goes for deciding the next step in realizing your dreams. Once you’ve made a concrete decision about that next ‘to do’ step, your brain will begin to filter in everything that’s related to your decision and filter out anything you don’t need. Isn’t that truly amazing? Let’s say it again, this is really important… your brain will begin to filter in everything that’s related to your decision and filter out anything you don’t need! If your goal is to change your car and you have decided how you are going to do that you will be amazed at all the things you begin to notice that will allow you to get that car. Your brain really is amazing in how it can help you.
So when it comes to achieving our goals, the two important things to remember are; 1) Clearly state what you want and 2) make a definite decision about how you are going to achieve it. This works for your goals in all areas of your life; health, diet, learning and achievement, self-confidence, romance and friendships, you name it. All you have to do is decide and allow your brain to highlight all the things that will help you reach your goal, it couldn’t be easier! So forget January! This month, this week and guess what…today is the perfect time to begin the journey to everything you desire!

What is Document capture and how is it different from Document Scanning?
Document scanning is one of the most common everyday business tasks. It converts physical documents into digital files. Document capture, on the other hand, is the process that brings all those scanned files or images, along with any other digital files, be it videos or photos, into a DMS, i.e., Document Management System or ECM, i.e., Enterprise Content Management System. My words are powerless, and so am I.” • 2.
