It’s Sunday morning, my toddler is sitting on the floor playing blocks and I’m snuggling in a warm throw with my middle child in a calm room and it makes me think about how folks struggle with finding balance between business and life. He Struggles With Finding Balance Between Business And Life Once upon a time, in the middle of May in the year 1998, I was in labor with my second baby and where was my husband? In and out of the hospital trying so hard to balance his clients needs with mine. At the time, he couldn’t, for whatever reason tell the client I needed him and was delivering his child. I believe it was because he was genuinely fearful of losing the client. He wasn’t going to lose me... after all I his wife and raising his children, but what would happen if he lost his client? The notion was too much for him. So, he never asked himself. The years went by and it was much the same as he put the business first. Having a business was EVERYTHING, the effort in finding harmony between business and life was simply not there. I knew what had to be done, but it was something that he needed to figure out for himself. Discovering Balance Between Business And Everyday life Is Tougher Than You Might Think! All the self-improvement guides and courses in the world didn’t help him with finding balance between business and life. I never understood how a person could struggle so much with a thing like this. I have always lived my life as if I might die tomorrow. I wake up every day and think of how I can make someone’s life better. He had his blinders on, nothing would take his eyes off from his dream of having his own business, not even his loved ones. What is the formula for acquiring balance between business and everyday life anyway? It doesn’t take a self-improvement guru to answer this one. Yet, it seems to be ellusive for many individuals. The Answer To Finding Harmony Between Business And Life Is Simpler For Some People Your family could be taken from you in a flash. What would I do without my sweet sunshine girl? That’s what I call my middle daughter, Samantha, who is now thirteen. What would I ever do without my first baby, Matthew? If he ever heard me refer to him as a baby, he’d die right there on the spot! It’s not cool for a mom to talk about her practically 16-year old son like that is it? Life is so worthwhile and it doesn’t take too much contemplating to figure that out. So, why did my husband struggle the way he did? It was all for the dream. I can’t fault him for that, I just wanted to be his dream. We all have many goals to work toward, and this is fine, healthy and WONDERFUL. Be mindful not to focus too much on one aspect of your dreams because your other dreams could slip away without you even realizing. Now Finding Balance Between Business And Life Is A Family Affair! We have been married for almost 18 years and it took him almost half of those years to figure out that his family was THE most important thing in his life. Changing businesses saved our family! We’ve been in business since 1995 and have done different types of business and succeeded at them all at least financially. The best business for a family, believe or not, is multi-level marketing, at least in my opinion. Particularly mainly because we earn our living in a lot of different ways. The freedom of operating from home and earning money has been so good for us. We even get a tax break by hiring our older children. My son assists with a lot of the internet marketing, while my middle daughter helps with graphics and videos. My husband well, he’s the backbone. He’s got his head straight now and works with the traffic generation and system funnels while giving himself to the family progressively each day. For someone struggling with finding harmony between business and life, all you have to do is think about how to integrate your family in what you do, but I recommend starting a home-based business.
