Five Points for a Happy Marriage as Bride of Christ
Legacy signals

1. The last message to Christ’s church in Revelation 3 has 7 parallels to Luke’s wedding parable so the Laodicean message is a wedding message–but His potential bride is blind and naked–serious problem; how does it get solved?
2. Union with Christ by a covenant must be different than the ignorant bride that God got at Sinai. How? Provision is embedded in the wedding parables. It’s the wedding Feast. Wedding parables have Passover imagery and the Feast at Passover is Unleavened Bread. “Beware the leaven of the Pharisees…” doctrine. Pharisees have leavened the bread; We are “blind & naked” not ready for marriage, We need loins girded with truth, Eph 6:14.
3. Christ promised to send Elijah to restore all things, We can have part, not 7000 silent witnesses as in His time. Elijah comes in context of Mal 4:4,5; 7 fold emphasis in Ezek 20:11-24. Truths with a 7-fold emphasis are part of the covenant we must make, just as Revelation is a book of 7-s.
4.
7 Seals have a contextual link to the 7 topics. For example, when God make a covenant with Israel, He said He would drive out the Canaanite, Exod 34:10,11. When we make a covenant, the red horse with a great sword takes peace from the earth, Rev 6:3,4. 5. Two of three wedding parables tell us to have our lights burning. When God made a covenant with Abraham, as the pro-active agent, He was the burning lamp, Gen 15:17. Telling us to have our lamps burning implies that we be pro-active in seeking a covenant. This is not “wait and see” –that’s a foolish virgin response that needs no faith–”whatsoever is not of faith is sin” Rom 14:23. We should be like the King’s servants that bid others to the wedding feast in Matt 22. Either we become pro-active and do what we can for the wedding or we will not be included in the high destiny that Luke 12:44 offers, and if we shrug this off, we will be beaten with stripes for failing to understand our role and not having His protection in troubles that will overtake us. Sadly the Laodicean message is addressed to the messenger (poorly translated as angel of the church, but angels were messengers- but the angel is not “blind and naked”–the preachers are for failing to see and preach the message as a wedding opportunity that is impending. So “if ANY person, hears and opens, they will be blessed, it’s not about a denominational church, but some teach more truth than others.
