Five Reasons for No Pre-Tribulation Rapture Seen in 5 Bible Examples

#1. When asked about the end of the world in Matthew 24, Christ said to understand the book of Daniel. Daniel and his friends faced life or death situations in chapters 1-6. “Daniel” means God is my Judge, and the book of Judges show they were deliverers like Gideon and Samson. God may deliver if we are faithful as Daniel, but it would also be a privilege to suffer and die for His sake as the disciples did. #2. Luke traveled with Paul and wrote the longest, perhaps the most complete gospel and the book of Acts where we read, “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God,” Acts 14:22. To believe otherwise may be wishful thinking, but it’s not supported by these or the following reasons. #3. Enoch is cited as an example of the rapture. The Bible says, “ Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Genesis 5:24. But if we look at the book of Revelation, none of the 7 churches are described as walking with God. The last church which represents western Christianity is ‘rich and increased with goods’ and is described as “wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.” This isn’t walking with God. Why would God rapture such a group that keeps Christ outside knocking? Revelation 3:17,20. #4. The apostle Paul tells us clearly, “ We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible.” 1Corinthians 15:51,52. Rapture enthusiasts have forgotten there are SEVEN trumpets in Revelation that are preceded by an earthquake that initiates the end-times, Revelation 8:5,6; Joel 2:10,11. #5. Elijah is the best example of a rapture, but he wasn’t raptured until after he confronted false worship and had visited the schools of the prophets to restore them. We have false worship today and Christ said “Elias shall first come and restore all things.” Matthew 17:11. Rather than looking for a fast escape, we should be asking, What are the all things that Elijah is to restore that we can have a share in his ministry.
Revelation is a book of 7 churches, 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 thunders, etc. A 7-fold emphasis is a mark of end-time truth, and there are 7 topics that qualify for what Elijah will restore. The best example is “the law of Moses…with the statutes and judgments. Behold I send you Elijah.” Malachi 4:4,5.
Those statutes and judgments have a 7-fold emphasis in Ezekiel 20:11-24 where they are linked to sabbaths that included not only the 7th day Sabbath of the 4th Commandment, but annual Sabbaths that were designed to teach truths in the plan of salvation.
Rome boasts the authority to change the day of worship from Sabbath to Sunday and they were behind the getting rid of the Ten Commandments in schools. Daniel 7 shows the papacy as the little horn that grew out of the 4th beast (Roman Empire) to “changes times and laws,” verse 25. All the Protestant Reformers believed Rome was the little horn power that persecuted the saints.
When the world goes to a New World Order with the pope in charge, will we be Catholic or Protestant? Instead of the Bride of Christ, Revelation 17 has imagery of a harlot riding the NWO beast and she’s called the Mother of Harlots and others no longer protest her abominations, verse 5. Rome is the Mother Church.
Other clues in Revelation can only fit the papacy. It’s no wonder the pope calls the Bible a dangerous book! Protestants hid the Bible in their homes at the peril of their lives before America was discovered.
