Follow the Successful Leaders

Let's rewind back to the time in your life when your biggest personal challenge was learning to ride a bike. When you decided to take the training wheels off your bike did you look to another kid who still rode with training wheels? No, of course not! You aspired to be like the neighborhood kids who rode a two-wheeler and made it look easy.

The same goes for launching your home-based business. You have the choice to either follow those before you who have proven to succeed or follow those who continue to struggle with their business. When you are starting your home business, seek out leaders within your organization who have what you are looking for. Find the leaders who make the business look easy, follow their lead, duplicate their systems and enjoy your ride to success.

Too often we over think things. We attempt to re-invent the wheel, we do things our way and become frustrated when we don't see the results we expected. If you can recognize this in yourself then you are in a position to change. If the leaders before you are utilizing a system which you have access to, then by all means follow the system. Most systems are in place because they work. They have been tested over and over again and been proven to yield positive outcomes.

I am not saying that there is no room for new ideas. Learning is essential for growth. While you are following the system put before you, continue to find innovative means to grow your business and incorporate these ideas into the existing system. At this point, you will probably see an increase in production.

Stay focused on "WHY" you made the decision to start a home business, follow in the footsteps of successful leaders, invest in learning and don't allow yourself to stay stuck in the victim thought process. After all, that thinking is what led you to be dissatisfied with where you were before your entrepreneurial spirit jumped out...isn't it?nn
