Your wedding is one of the most exciting days of your life, but the time is often hectic. Will you have enough time to deal with everything and make the wedding perfect? Which should you pay attention to? Having a checklist can make it much easier to get organised and to prioritise the most important tasks. Here is a list of the most important things you must do before the big day arrives. 1. Schedule Day of the Wedding Beauty Treatments If you still do not have a hair and makeup appointment, the last week before the wedding is the perfect time to have those organised. You have already attended a hair and makeup trial, so you have a pretty good idea about what you want to get. Choose a time that will be convenient for you and your wedding photographer. Incorporating these beauty treatments and preparations in your wedding photography album will result in a really adorable presentation. Reportage wedding photography is perfect because it will trace every step of the way. Make sure that you have discussed the specifics and prepare to take pictures with your photographer. Talk to your bridesmaids and friends, if plan on any treatments as a group. Make sure that everybody is aware of the schedule and all the details. 2. Preparations for Out of Town Guests Are relatives and friends from out of town going to attend your wedding? Make the arrangements and book a hotel. For some brides, this is one of the most stressful wedding aspects. Relatives may have specific accommodation requirements that may be difficult to address. Depending on the number of people arriving, you may have to do some lengthy research. Choose a hotel that is conveniently located close to the wedding venue. Prep your home, if some of the relatives are going to be staying there. Do not wait until the last moment to clean the guest rooms. Have those prepared several days in advance, in order to prevent wedding day chaos. 3. Final Dress Fitting Your final dress fitting should take place in the last week before the wedding. Go to pick up your beautiful outfit and make sure that it looks exactly the way you want it to. If necessary, you may want to have a couple of last minute adjustments. You should also have your wedding shoes bought by now. Practice walking and dancing in them. Make sure that the shoes are comfortable enough since you will be standing in them all day long. 4. Confirm the Details with All of Your Vendors Give all of the vendors one last phone call to confirm everything and go over the details. All of the vendors should be aware of the date, the exact time, the venue and the number of guests. Remind them of any special arrangements you could have made beforehand. You should also provide a contact phone number (of a friend or a parent), in case any additional communication needs to take place during the wedding day. The last thing you need to do is talk to your parents and dearest friends about responsibilities and wedding day tasks. Make sure that the people you can rely on are all on the same page, if you want to enjoy a flawless and fun wedding.
