Many things have been called "the mark of the beast", such as barcodes, various ID cards and even the covid vaccines. The book of Revelation, however, reveals something more specific and it is something people will know is confronting them. Many Bible passages also reveal that born again believers in Jesus Christ (those having salvation), will not be here for this mark, which is part of the anti-Christ system (1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 and 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8). It is also in fact, the number of a man, who is also called "the beast" and that number is stated in Revelation as being or having 666 within it.
Revelation 13:16-18 "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
Within some scriptures in Revelation, it states that people will receive in their bodies, the mark of the beast, his name or the number of his name (Revelation 13:17). During the Great Tribulation period that Christians will escape and referred to by Jesus in Matthew 24:21, no one will be able to buy or sell, unless they receive this mark, that will irreversibly damn their souls for ete
ity (people can refuse to accept the mark). Hear more about this mark offered to those who rejected Jesus Christ, in this Video.
I also discuss aspects regarding the man who will be called "the Beast", which is simply another term for "the anti-Christ. If we believe what Jesus stated in his Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24), then we must realize that the Beast will very soon make his appearance on the world scene.

About the Author
I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies (33 college credits) and I completed "Bible Survey" with Assemblies of God - Berean College. I consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in 1983 for approximately 18 years. During, between and after youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring and retirement home ministry. MOST IMPOTANTLY, I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
