From Rags To Riches

We have all heard of stories of success. We have heard of people becoming millionaires and billionaires. Often we wonder whether these people really did make it starting from nothing or if they went through luxury and comfort to more luxury and comfort. Well this article is about going from rags to riches.

I am surprised at the online success stories. I have seen many. Many of these stories however are from people who were managers earning a sizable income, and then they went forward and achieved more success. That is easy, and there is no place for such a story in this article.

What interests me are those people who surmount insurmountable odds. These people are very unique as they have done something special, something so special that we can easily say they are one in a million!

No they did not win lotteries with money they got from begging nor did they suddenly get an inheritance, but they did focus there energies into something they believed in and made it work. This is what is so amazing, and luck is not part of it. In fact most of these people had a hard time and luck was not in there favor. They had to swim against the stream for a time, and managed to gain higher ground.

A story I once heard about the first Muslim lord in the United Kingdom was one who came to the United Kingdom poor, and with hardly any money. Living in phone boxes and anywhere he could, he managed to buy a big sack of rice.

He split up the rice into bags and sold it door to door. In the end he ended up with a multi million pound business and became a Lord! This is a story of going from rags to riches.

If he can do it, in a foreign country, why can't you succeed where you are, with the resources you have available to you. Sometimes we can't see the opportunities in front of us. They need to be pointed out to us, and often they are and still we can't see it.

The skills and abilities we have could be all that we need to make major success happen in life. This is an immense feeling when you can take these skills and abilities and start earning money from them.

Consider a singer, using only there voice box, they manage to make millions and become a legend in the line of music they shoot for. This is immense, and rags to riches are everywhere.

You don't have to start rich. Most people in the US who have become millionaires have followed the rags to riches path and found the wealth they knew they were worthy of. This is true for you, and you need to believe you can.

Initiative and massive action are absolutely essential. The guy living in the phone box knew there was more to life, and his application with the means available to him allowed him to live his dream and become very wealthy in the process!
