It is a dream of most guys to get the V Shape every girl loves. How exactly do you get the V Shape? Now some people, when mentioning V Shape refers to the part just above the pelvic bone, where you get something like a 'v' pointing downwards towards your crotch if you worked out your stomach sufficiently and got abs. Others refer to the V Shape which is formed when you have got the broad shoulders, with a narrow waistline all with a set of six pack abs!

You may be wondering which one I am referring to. I'm referring to the second one! V Shape only at the pelvis area is great, but what if you were to combine broader shoulders with a narrow waist and abs. Now, is that not much better? So let us get on with business and learn how to get the V Shape!

There are two main factors to take into account here. Firstly, it will be increasing the broadness of your shoulders and secondly, we will be decreasing the size of your waist to a reasonable level such that abs can be visible!

You will have to work on your shoulders, back and pectoral muscles. For shoulders, you will be making use of heavy shoulder presses and shoulder lateral raises. Shoulder presses or A
old presses with dumbbells are great exercises for our purposes and will work on building the shoulder mass if you were to work on your diet too. Shoulder lateral raises with dumbbells will get you more muscle striation and make your shoulders look 'harder', rather than simply having a soft rounded look you should not be aiming for.

Other than shoulder training, for a broader top look, your chest will also need to be trained. Bench presses will help you complete the upper body broad look.

Is that all you need to know for how to get the V Shape? You also need to know about how to work out your back muscles! Without your back muscles, you will never fully get the V Shape look. It is your lats muscles otherwise known as your wings which help you enhance and fully allow you to encapsulate the essence of a V Shape body, or else, you will only look literally like a clothes hanger, with broad shoulders but no V Shape. It may still look good, albeit a weird looking.
