We all have rules…
Rules about what we have to do in order to be fulfilled and make money…
Who we have to be…
How exactly we have to make it happen…
So many hidden rules, so many obvious ones…
And all those rules just get in the way of what is TRYING to come our way!
I was speaking to a client earlier who thought that in order to take her business up a big notch, she would need to be a lot more organized about her life and I am like… “PLEASE!!!”
“Honey, I don’t know all that many organized successful entrepreneurs.”
This was one of her rules and it was making her delay just getting on with doing the work in her business as she tried to be something she was not…
I am certainly not organized about anything. I create a whirlwind all around me and leave it to someone else to pick up the pieces. No, I don’t go round wounding people or creating a mess for the sake of it… I just know what I am good at and I no longer want to spend all my time trying to be someone or something I am not.
I am just done with those rules that some self-help guru (who is probably pretty darned DISORGANISED) wrote in some book because it is what ‘norms’ think is an essential part of being a ‘success’
He/ she knew it would sell more books because everyone wants to believe that there is some civilized, predictable way to do the uncivilized thing of changing the world through their business and how surprised they are to discover that all the organization in the world does nothing more than make you have a clean space BUT NO MORE MONEY!!!!!
No, you do not have to be more organized.
No, you do not have to look a certain way…
No, you do not have to become someone other than you…
No, you do not have to obey some person’s rules nor jump through some person’s hoops to create success and wealth…
You are setting rules for yourself that make everything take longer!
And there is no assurance that when you start obeying this rule, the money will THEN start to flow…
It just might not!
And then what?
Let me reiterate…
There are no rules!
You get to create wealth on your own terms…
You DO NOT NEED TO WAIT to be perfect!
It will take too long and you just might die before you get there…
Instead, OWN who you are TODAY! Flaws and all!
