Go Green and Save Green

Our planet needs saving. We see it every day in the news, withi
TV, radio, and print ads, and now BPO Company is trying to cut down by sending us our monthly bills through the internet. Everybody, in their own little way is doing their share of helping the planet by changing the way we live. But what about you? Have you taken the time to really think about what you can do for mother earth? If it makes you feel better, there is always going to be this awesome catch: MONEY.

Cost of living is rising by the day. Somehow, the way we once lived is no longer satisfied by the amount of money that we are making. We need to work extra hard to live comfortably. Here are a few things you can do to help save our planet and to help you earn that extra green:

Kill the engine. I did not realize how much money I was actually saving when I took the time to wake up a little bit earlier and walk or bike to work. It was free and all it cost was my body’s exertion. Every muscle in me had to work double time, and yet after every ride or long walk, I found myself in a better state of mind. Endorphins do this to you, they put you on a natural high.

Toss the bottled water. Spend a little on a jug and refill your own water every day. Buying bottled water adds up, and then the trash it accumulates is never good for our environment. Again, you’ve hit two birds with one stone.

Eat well. Here is the thing, we are so consumed in our fast paced lives that we forget what it means to eat healthy. By eating well, I mean mixing up the meats and vegetables. Replacing expensive ingredients for cheaper, healthier options. So if you are a meat eater, try to give up the steak at least twice a week for vegetables and fish.
