What can we learn about this very physical comedian, famous for his strange entrances? Exploring them now may be as good a reason as any for you to enter into reading auras on your own,
, not just reading about them.

As I move into this weekend's Aura Intensive (very gifted participants, hooray!), I'm reminded that ANYONE who wishes to read auras in depth and detail can learn to do so. Resources for aura readings demand your discernment. Various forms of spiritual readings and intuitive readings are available, but for aura readings you have the enticement of really practical results.
Alas, there is also so much mythology around this topic that discernment is absolutely necessary. You can read on my blog about the ridiculous, out-dated assumption that auras are "colours." (
)
Beyond that, to succeed at doing your own aura readings, you must be honest enough to know if you really like to learn from a book (
) or if you prefer to buddy up with a friend, together with a book. Or maybe you need to first have breakthroughs by learning directly from a teacher. Many people do. So I offer telephone mentoring, by the 55-minute chunk, and this does work.
My other recommendation to you newbies involves discernment about the teacher, and aura reading system you choose (
).
Many teachers are available these days, but they don't all teach the same thing any more than the word "CAR" always promises you the same type of vehicle. Find a teacher who encourages you to recognize your gifts,
rather than aiming to make you a duplicate of the teacher. You'll grow much faster as yourself, and also keep your self-esteem intact.
Self-esteem is one of those qualities I wonder about with Richards, who has demonstrated a rare kind of ego-lessness that has enabled him to generate some of the wildest
body language ever seen on TV. Since "Seinfeld," Richards also has embarrassed himself publicly on multiple occasions. Yet he is clearly so talented. Let's add that databank to our now "standard" set for reading the energy fields of THE RICH AND FUNNY.
SELF-ESTEEM AT THE ROOT CHAKRA
Sponteneity is such a way of life for Michael. He moves in and out of emotional spaces, riffing off other people's ways of being in their bodies, dipping in and out of memories and how they made him feel. Self-esteem, or any sense of personal self, as Michael Richards isn't a major factor.
Instead, as I do an empathic merge (
) on this very unusual person, his personal identity is more like an airport. His sense of self is ike a landing place, useful before he goes off on his next psychic journey.
When I insist on going deeper into the Richards form of self-esteem, I find a certain pride in his work, mixed with wonder at his success, and gratitude for the luck that has enabled him to display his goofball antics in the Seinfeld show. Goofballing is what he does best.
It's the minute right after performing, when he lands back inside his own body, that Michael Richards basks in success and self-esteem. Then he's off and riffing again. For this creative artist, having to stay "in character" is much harder than finding a thousand variations on "being me."
VERSION OF REALITY DATABANK AT THE ROOT CHAKRA
It's a small world after all, and not in a Disney-fied sense that "small world" equals coziness. Everyday reality strikes Richards as dull. He desperately needs to mix things up. The longing feels, to me, as vivid as a very strong itch.
TIMING FOR HUMOR DATABANK AT THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Timing has an almost athletic quality to it. Richards finds the moment and jumps into it with abandon. Timing is one way he really uses his intellect in the process of creating humor.
Unlike, say, Leslie Nielsen, who constantly uses his intellect, Richards spontaneously jumps out of his conscious mind, letting the impulses take him (and his body) wherever they will.
SENSE OF HUMOR DATABANK AT THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
What feels funny to Michael Richards? Simple. It's being an outsider, then being welcomed back, even being embraced.
This dynamic is a kind of repeating pattern that underlies his comedy. He pushes himself out, beyond the pale, well into the realms that Sharon calls "goofball." Receiving a grateful response from his audience, Michael moves into an emotional space that Sally Field described once, when winning an Oscar:
"You like me. You really like me."
CONCLUSION
If we were to read soul age on Michael, we might find he's a relative newcomer to Earth School. Yet passion makes him seem ageless and brings success to his work.
What I admire most about him isn't the goofiness that has caused me to laugh countless times. It is Michael's surrender to the moment, where his body will twist or bend, his face contort in just the way needed to... mark him as strange. It is a total giving, like the kind that brought such success to the very different career of Marilyn Monroe.
In Tarot, there's a card for this: The Fool. When you risk all, give all, who knows what will happen? Maybe, like Michael Richards, you will tumble into screen immortality as one of the greatest physical comics of all time.nn
