The thing is it's not that straightforward to know what you really want to do for the rest of your life. There are people who go after a very unlikely path in life while doing what they really want to do whenever they have time to do it. For others, they want to only go after their goals or passion only after they have gone through a hell of a lot of failures in their life.
Hey! If you want some tips in finding what you want in life then read on:
The First thing you should do is look at your environment and establish what, or who motivates you to make you want to better yourself - what is it that inspires you to make you want to work towards your goals? Well, it could be your loved ones or a certain person that motivates you to better your life. This could be even things: what is it that you see often that makes you want to move forward in your life? The thing is keep track of what motivates you!
The second thing to do is to think about happy thoughts. Bring to mind the times in your life that you experienced the most happiness. What brought about such happiness? What was it that made you ecstatic?
The third thing to do is to think about your job. If you are stuck in a job that you loathe and your only reason why you are doing the loathsome job is for the money, then you will have a tougher time in getting to know where your real desire in life lies.
rnYou may want to look back to the time before you started the job. What were you like back then or what were you thinking of accomplishing at that time in your life? If you have already saved enough money, you may want to think about leaving your job. This way, you can assign more time in going after the things that you really want in life before it gets too late.
The fourth thing you need to do is to be open to whatever opportunities life may bring you. This can be done by being courageous enough to take risks one at a time. It doesn't matter how little or how large they are. Once you begin following your heart and mind to attain the point where you feel you will be happy, then you are on the right path. And finding what you want to do with your life will be a lot easier. Good Luck!
