Really, the part I used to hate about cleaning the most would be the way it would make me feel during and afterwards. Shortness of breath, burning eyes, runny nose, itchy skin are all some of the things I would experience.

Traditional cleaning products contain some of the harshest ingredients. Things like formaldehyde, phosphates, chlorine bleach, petroleum solvents, abrasives, aerosol propellents just to name a few are all some of the harshest ingredients you can find. How can that same product which is used in medical labs and funeral homes be safe to use to cleaning products?

Here are some other startling facts about cleaning products:
• There are more than 3 million poisonings every year • Household cleaners are the #1 cause of poisonings in children • Regular shampoos often contain formaldehyde as a preservative • Since 1980 asthma has increased by 600% • Common household products have been identified as triggers of asthma • A 15-year study found that women who worked at home had a 54% higher death rate from cancer than women who had jobs outside the home
