Happiness Guaranteed

How can anyone guarantee happiness? Well, they can't. But we can. We can guarantee our own happiness. In order to do that, however, we must first eliminate those things that make us unhappy.
So let's get started. First, think about what makes you unhappy. Take a few moments to think about that. When were you last unhappy? Maybe a few moments ago when you read something that you didn't agree with, or when you had the urge to "go" and had to relieve yourself. We don't normally think that relieving ourselves is unhappiness because we relieve ourselves before we become truly unhappy! But if for some reason we couldn't relieve ourselves, we would more easily understand unhappiness!
Let's face it; trapped in this body and mind, we have set ourselves up for unhappiness, both physically and psychologically. We worry, we fret, we imagine all kinds of things happening. A terrorist attack on our local high school, a rare debilitating disease that we might mysteriously pick up, growing old. Losing our cell phone! The world is ripe with disasters just waiting to happen, and they all seem right around the corner.
Sure, go ahead and whistle in the dark, thinking, "It won't happen to me because God is looking out for me." But then, oops, that wasn't supposed to happen! And we rationalize, "Oh well, God must be testing me," etc.
We must come to terms with the fact that when we are born into this world, we will be unhappy at times, many times. This cannot be otherwise, and to dispute this would be ludicrous.
So, we could say that this is a truth: Unhappiness Exists! Therefore, if unhappiness is a common occurrence, how can we guarantee our happiness? Actually it's quite easy - don't be born in the first place!
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Okay, it's too late this time; here we are, but you can keep yourself from being reborn the next time! And here's how.
"Wait a minute," you say. "What in the world are you talking about?"
Let's begin at the beginning. In order to guarantee our happiness, we can't allow ourselves to be born into physical existence. Do we have control of that? You bet we do, but few realize it. We think that we will merely go to heaven when it's all over and that's that! . . . Hardly.
Nothing happens without a reason – this is called cause and effect. I challenge you to point to one thing that didn't have a cause, or that which brought it into existence. You can't. (God doesn't count because if God in fact is a reality, he or she is not caught within existence as we are; God would be in the Reality realm!)
So what we do here on earth has an effect on our afterlife (cause and effect). Therefore, if we don't learn about life and how to transcend physical life while we are here, guess what! Back we go into human existence again and it's déjà vu all over again, as we find ourselves riding the unhappiness express through the revolving door of rebirth after rebirth! So many births and deaths will we experience that our tears alone will fill an ocean, let alone the fluid from relieving ourselves!
So okay, you don't believe me about rebirth. Fine! But just in case it is true; and many religions, thousands of years old profess that it is true as did Christianity for about 300 years, and has my own meditation experiences of past lives, here is how you can prevent physical rebirth (might as well get a little insurance!), and go on to spiritual realms, and it won't interfere with your beliefs at all:nn . . . MEDITATE!
