Have you heard? I heard a little baby has been born in Bethlehem. I saw a bright star in the East. I heard that He is the King of the Jews, the Son of God. I heard that He has come to be the Savior of the world! I heard that He was born to a virgin and laid in a manger. Can you imagine that, born of a virgin? Have you seen this baby Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard there is a man named Jesus. He is going all about Galilee teaching, preaching, and healing all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. I heard that the other day, He healed a man with leprosy. I also heard that He healed the servant of a Roman military officer. Have you seen this preacher called Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard there is a man named Jesus in a boat on the sea. I heard that a great multitude of people are following Him. I heard that He is speaking to the people in parables. Can you imagine, a man speaking to a large crowd in parables? Have you seen this teacher called Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard there is a man named Jesus going about performing miracles. I heard that He calmed the wind and the waves with His voice. I heard that He took five loaves of bread and two fish and fed over five thousand people. I heard that His disciples even saw Him walk on the water! Have you seen this miracle-worker called Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard that there is a man named Jesus in Jerusalem. I heard that He entered the city riding a donkey. I heard that a large multitude met Him on the road, and laid clothes and branches on the road before Him. I heard that they shouted and cried out, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” His disciples said that He is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee. Have you seen this prophet called Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard that they have arrested a man named Jesus. I heard that He is guilty of blasphemy. I heard that the people cried out for Him to be crucified. I heard that He has carried His cross to Golgotha. Have you seen this prisoner called Jesus? Do you know Him?n n Have you heard? I heard that the man called Jesus that was crucified is gone from the tomb. I heard that some women went to anoint His body, but did not find Him there! The stone had been rolled away from the entrance to the tomb. I heard that His disciples, Peter and John, found only His linen cloths lying where His body had been! Have you seen this dead man Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard that the dead man Jesus is alive! I heard that He appeared to a woman, Mary Magdalene, and also to His disciples. Have you seen this resurrected man called Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard that the resurrected man Jesus has gone to heaven! I heard that He led His disciples out as far as Bethany. I heard that He raised His hands to bless the disciples and was received up into heaven. I heard that He sat down at the right hand of God. Have you seen this seated man Jesus? Do you know Him?
Have you heard? I heard that the man called Jesus is coming back! I heard that He is coming back for His children. I heard that He has prepared a place for them, that where He is, there they may be also. Have you met this soon-coming Jesus? Do YOU know Him?
