Having fun manifesting

For many years I’ve been teaching, speaking and coaching about how we create our own reality by the way we think. Since the release of the DVD “The Secret”, there has been more conversation about creating and manifesting your reality. From several articles I’ve read in USA today and many web blogs, the question often comes up about manifesting things for personal use versus manifesting things for the world at large. And the question from Spiritual groups comes in, “where is God in all of this?” This week I want to share my thoughts about this topic.
Our human experience involves collecting “things” and having things that make life easier and more pleasurable. It is true that most of us in the civilized world have more things than we need. We collect and store and recycle and throw away our things. Our things can help to give us an identity. It is unfortunate that having things can also become an attempt to fill up an internal emptiness. When someone is struggling to pay the bills, keep the car running, find and maintain a healthy relationship or struggle through an illness, they can feel un-empowered and sometimes victimized. If you are feeling powerless, it is exciting to claim your power by learning to create things.
We have two options. One is to use our thoughts and emotions to focus on, claim, and declare what we DON'T want. You know the saying, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease”. When something is not working in our life, it becomes the squeaky wheel getting our attention. The second choice is to use our thoughts and emotions to claim what we DO want, regardless of what life looks and feels like in the present moment.
In exploring these choices, I am excited as a life coach and teacher of metaphysics to support someone truly moving into living their power and learning how to manifest things. What better way to learn how to create than to be in need, in someway, and change your thinking and feelings. This gives you a visual of how to change your life around. When you practice creating things you need in life, you become powerful and go from a place of struggle to a place of serenity. When you are no longer struggling, and feeling more empowered in creating your own reality, then you can move onto joy. And then we can have fun and joy in creating more things to experience. This joy opens us up and once opened, it is natural to share your joy with others. And this is where God is located, in the joy we share with others.

Learning to claim our personal power by creating, makes us feel good and connected and naturally progresses into sharing joy with others. Be inspired this week to create in joy and share your joy with those around you.
