Healthcare in America; Choices and Freedom

One point I believe everybody can and will agree upon is our current healthcare system is broken. A complete re-engineering process is really needed.
And that of course is where the debate begins.
We can safely assume Big Pharma will have nobody's health interests at heart; assuming they even have a heart which is highly suspect.
Allopaths (your typical western MD) to their credit more and more are stepping up for doing what is right with preventive alte
ative modalities and putting forth an important message: Let me be a Doctor and not a health insurance manager.
The current health insurance companies seem to actually promote rising healthcare costs, then denial of treatments, like a diabolical plot to justify higher rates, and simultaneously deny paying out of costs; meaning increase net profits. Traditional MD's (read AMA) are too often shills for Big Pharma.
So where can we turn?
I believe what is lacking are fundamental principles for health care in America.
Principle One: Freedom to choose. I am my own best Doctor. Not an Allopath, not a pharmaceutical drug pusher, and least of all not my Insurance provider. I have an inalienable right to choose my health care provider and the modality that is best for me AS I DECIDE. It is my body. My right. My choice. No one else's, and certainly NEVER the Government's decision.
Principle Two: Healthcare is vital to the prosperity of our Nation. Economic, quality of life, productivity, GDP (GNP), the healthier we are, the more economically secure and productive we are as a nation. Government has a responsibility to assure a healthcare system that works like it has a role in all infrastructure of our country. Healthcare then is no different tha
Interstate highways, the Internet, General Aviation, Electricity, Water, Security.
Principle Three: Healthcare encompasses ALL health modalities. Holistic modalities work. They are in fact proven with gold standard testing. Allopathy (the current typical MD) is primarily taught to treat a symptom with a drug or do surgery. I think all would agree that is the best modality for any physical injury or trauma, but fails, and has failed for decades in treating the major diseases faced by us today; example Breast Cancer, et al. Our system is designed around a dysfunctional allopathic modality for most health issues. It is discussed and presented as THE ONLY modality, and the AMA and Big Pharma work hard to poopoo any other approach. Other modalities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auryvedic, Acupuncture, Vibrational Energy Medicine, Nutrition, Osteopathy, Homeopathy, Hypnotherapy, Chiropractic, exist. Many have thousands of years of successful treatments way beyond anything allopathy can ever do. There are so many excellent proven alte
ative holistic health modality protocols that work. But are a threat to the Allopathic system. That bias is the PROBLEM. That is what must change.
It is my free will to decide what treatment protocol I want for my body to heal. No one else's. Insurance should cover my choice, not theirs.
Government does have a responsibility and therefore a role to play in assuring, even insuring, the health of our people as part of our Nation's infrastructure. It is vital for our economy and national productive output to have a healthy people.
The best course of increased vitality and health for our country is supporting increased availability and economic viability for all alte
ative health modalities (often called Complimentary Alte
ative Modalities or CAM) whichever one any American citizen may choose for themselves.
It is every American Citizen's fundamental right to choose the healthcare that is right for them.
This is a free country with individual liberty and the pursuit of happiness at its core; that means it is our constitutional right to choose our Doctor or other Healthcare Provider.
