In short, fast weight loss diets do not work in long-term because they do not deal with maintenance of a healthy body weight once achieving it. One of the main problems of fast weight loss diets is also the fact that they do not emphasize the importance of regular exercise which is equally important as dietary changes.
In addition, all fast weight loss diets are considered unhealthy. The majority of health experts recommend diet low in calorie and high in nutrient content, and loss of no more that 1 to 2 pounds a week.
